I. Your Privacy is Important to Us and We are Committed to Carefully Managing Your Information

Decision Resources is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers and other visitors to its web site (the "Site").

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you of the type of information we may gather about you when you visit the Site or otherwise contact us, how we may use that information, whether we disclose such information to others and what choices you have regarding our use of such information.  In addition, you should know that Decision Resources, together with its affiliates, is the sole owner of the information collected on the Site and that this Privacy Policy applies to this site, but does not apply to other web sites to which we link.

II. What Information Do We Collect, How do We Collect It and How Do We Use it

Decision Resources collects personal information when you use certain features of this Site or otherwise contact us, including your use of the Site to register for our e-mail updates, to order products or product samples, to submit career inquiries, to participate in surveys or to contact us directly by e-mail.  When you use these features, we ask for certain personally identifiable information from you such as your name, title, employer, e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number, user name, password and in some cases financial information.  We use the information you provide for the following general purposes:  to fulfill your requests for use of certain features of the Site, to fulfill your product or service orders, for billing purposes and to contact you for the purpose of order processing, marketing or promotional campaigns, or to conduct surveys on our products and services.  To optimize our communications with customers and potential customers, we also cross-tab the information you provide through the Site with information you otherwise provided to us, for example, in any direct communications you might have with our sales representatives.

Through the Site, we also automatically gather certain information about the use of the Site, such as how frequently certain areas of the Site are visited.  We collect this information using several tools, including cookies, web beacons and other technologies.  We use this information to improve our products and services, to plan Site enhancements and to measure overall Site effectiveness.

III. When and With Whom Do We Share Collected Information

Contractors:

We engage vendors to render certain services on our behalf, including without limitation marketing related services, shipping and billing services and services related to the maintenance and operation of the Site and certain features of the Site.  To that end, we may permit certain trusted service providers to access your information in connection with their performance of such services.

Third Parties:

In addition, we occasionally share lists [name, e-mail address, mailing address, etc.] with carefully screened companies whose products and services we believe would be of interest to our customers and other visitors to the Site.  Decision Resources also enters into partnerships with other companies to create new and unique products, and we share lists with such companies for communications purposes.

Legal Proceedings:

Finally, we may disclose information that we have collected if we believe in good faith that the law requires such disclosure or that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights and property of Decision Resources or others.

V. What are Your Choices with Regard to the Use of Your Information

VI. What Will Happen if Decision Resources Goes Through a Business Transition

If Decision Resources goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets, your personally identifiable information likely will be among the assets transferred.

If we decide to change our Privacy Policy for the Site, we will post the revised Privacy Policy here so that you will always know what information we gather, how we might use that information and whether we will disclose it to anyone.
